This group of Murrieta family members is dedicated to presenting the correct historical facts related to the life of Joaquin Murrieta, and to providing assistance to the residents of Trincheras, Sonora as well as supporting various Latino causes.

Every year the Association helps sponsor Joaquin Murrieta Days in Trincheras, which is held in conjunction with the celebration of Trincheras's patron saint, San Rafael.
