Pitiquito, Sonora
The pueblo of Pitiquito (pronounced pee-tee-kee-toe), Sonora is a small, lovely community nestled between the desert hills a few miles east of Caborca on Mexico highway 2. In addition to having a lovely mission church, San Diego de Pitiquito, on the site of the original mission estabished by Father Kino in 1689, it is also home to Pieles Pitic, a producer of fine leather goods.
