| Kindergarten Parade in Honor of the "Boy Heroes" September 2009 |
The annual kindergarten parade to honor the "Niños
Heroes" was held on Monday, September 14 in Caborca. The
annual event honors the young cadets at the Chapultepec
Military Academy in Mexico City, who sacrificed their lives
instead of being captured by invading American forces on
September 13, 1847.
To mark the event, the kindergarten students dressed up as
military cadets, or in traditional Mexican outfits.
