| The Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos, is an important Mexican cultural tradition observed on November 2nd. Like Memorial Day in the US, Mexicans take flowers and other adornments to the cemetery, where they clean and decorate the graves of loved ones and spend time at the grave sites. In addition, educators use the day as a cultural learning experience, as students build altars and present information about the traditions and their significance. |
