The city of Caborca hosted a multitude of events for its 9-day celebration of the 154th anniversary of the defense of Caborca against Henry Crabb and his group of American filibusteros who sought to annex the area in 1857.

The party included nightly entertainment and a fantastic projection of lights on the Historic Temple at Pueblo Viejo, sports events, an art exhibition, and international rodeo, and of course, the huge 6th of April parade.
