Caborca has two main hardware
stores/lumber yards - Socoada (which is
affiliated with Ace Hardware) and
Madereria Lizarraga. Socoada is much
bigger and modern, although Lizarraga
has the feel of an old-time hardware
store.
Socoada has a few different businesses in
or near its Ace Hardware center on
Avenida Colegio Militar - such as
veterinarian/pet supplies, a filling station,
a school for English classes, and a
furniture store.
You can usually find what you're looking
for at either store, and their staffs are
always extremely professional and helpful
(even if you don't speak Spanish so well).
