Caborca has a number of supermarkets that carry most goods that you'd find north of
the border. You may be surprised that certain goods cost more than they would in the
U.S., both because of import tariffs and because the demand for many of the items is lower.
The main supermarket chains are Mercado Santa Fe, Bodega Aurera (owned by Walmart), PH (Pesquiera Hermanos), and Ley (which
also has some department store-type goods).
Also, there are convenience stores (Oxxo and Super M are the most common) which
carry the same types of goods as U.S. convenience stores.
There are also countless "mini-supers" that are small neighborhood stores that stock
milk, bread, snacks and other essentials.
