Caborca resident Alina Trevor is a world-famous artist known for her beautiful interpretations of Sonoran landscapes and themes, painted with oil on canvas. She was hit by a car while walking to school a month before her 17th birthday, an accident that left her paralyzed from the neck down. Alina paints her incredible artwork with a paintbrush in her mouth. She credits her love of God, the Virgin of Guadalupe, her Mother, her family, and her love of painting for giving her inspiration and motivation every day. Some of her works are on display at various locations around Caborca, at her gallery, and in art galleries around the world. |
