The mission church La Purísima Concepción de Nuestra Señora de Caborca is a well-known symbol of Caborca. Unfortunately though, the church is usually closed, so many people have not seen the inside of the historic temple. The temple renovation includes a restoration of the temple’s interior, and progress can be seen in comparing photos taken in 2006 with those taken in 2011.
