The city cemetery is located next to Carretera Internacional (Mexico Highway 2), and you will pass by it when driving through Caborca.  It is a typical Mexican cemetery, but with many interesting and beautiful forms of monuments to the departed.

The cemetery bustles with activity and beautifully adorned graves as Caborcans tend to their loved ones' graves on November 2, the Day of the Dead.

To take a walking tour of the cemetery, turn south on the road that is just to the east of the railroad tracks. When the road takes a 90-degree turn to the left, turn right instead and the entry gates are straight ahead.
